About Balanced Movement Studio

Each of us at Balanced Movement Studio knows that movement is the key to living healthier, living happier, and improving your quality of life. With that in mind, we have two goals: to build a movement community, and to make you a part of it.

We offer a private setting where each client feels a part of a supportive and caring community. Our holistic approach enables us to help our clients feel more connected to their bodies.

If you need help getting motivated, if you’re not feeling like you used to, if you’re worried about your long-term health, or if you just need some help with your fitness routine, our certified personal trainers can help you.

We also have a 1,200-square-foot movement space upstairs, where we host movement classes including yoga, Pilates, Gyrokinesis, stress management, meditation, Qigong, Taiji, and more. This warm, inviting space overlooking downtown Carrboro is the perfect place to take a break from your hectic day, and feel better for doing it.

If you need more specialized care, we share the building with Proaxis Therapy, with a team of licensed physical therapists who share our belief that movement is the key to a good life.
